30 Day Challenge!

Hello! Welcome to our little corner of the internet! We will be chronicling our 30 day challenge to eat 100% homemade or home-prepared foods. In other words, 30 days with no take out or going out to eat. We really want to get back in the habit of eating at home and grocery shopping (and saving some money while we are at it!) 🙂 We know it won’t be easy, but we’re determined!

We got married in June and after 18 months of stressful wedding planning, we didn’t want to plan anything ever again! Needless to say, that included healthy meals at home. And while we aren’t specifically trying to eat super healthy, we know we always make better choices when we have fresh groceries in the house.

Here are the rules we have agreed on for the challenge (additions will be made if necessary):

  1. No eating out at restaurants
  2. No take out (includes salad bars, and fully prepared meals at the grocery store)
  3. No drinks out (includes coffee, alcohol)
